For Hire: a custom, hand-crafted Viking Warrior looking for a good fight. Like his brothers in the movie, 13th Warrior, he is fearless, battle-tested, and determined to make  Odin proud…

I use a multi-layered approach for all LEGO minifig torsos, armor, weapons, and shields. I start with a plastic-adhesive spray paint and finish each element with a special metallic paint that I rub on by hand to give each piece an authentic-looking worn/oxidized bronze or iron finish. Every piece is unique because of this. Finally, I protect shield stickers with varnish.

Some of the Viking minifigs come with a Brickforge convex circular shield which is very difficult to bond a sticker to. It is a lengthy process that involves plastic softening agents for the decal and extremely delicate care in situating the sticker without damaging it. These shield stickers have a high failure rate because of this and sometimes show some imperfections so please look at the pictures.  

All Torso designs have been created electronically and generally based on historically accurate designs that have caught my eye. The weapons, shields, and helmets are custom classics typically produced by LEGO, BrickForge, Brick Warriors, and others.
